Precision engineering, ergonomic design and a detailed fusion of features deliver maximum aeronautical authenticity.Regarding the Clutch function, i deliberately choosed to disable it.

I checked the PINS at each end of the communication cable, they look good.Īnyway your thoughts on this are appreciated. As a beginner on DCS and new with HOTAS, setting up my x52 pro to work as Ive. In the DCS control configuration, I can set up the pinkie button (Button ID 6) as a modifier. To allow DCS manage the pinkie modifier, remember to disable the Clutch mode globally for the X52 pro. The throttle and joystick you see in your in-game Elite cockpit is modeled on the Saitek X52 line, so either the X52 or X52 Pro are the ultimate choice for 'realism', if you can stomach the 100-150 cost. Doing this will allow you to add extra functions to your hat switches. If your still having troubles, might try the 'purge' I suggested above, and removing all the saitek magic keyboard and magic mouse drivers. open x52 pro control panel, choose MFD tab, untick 'Enable clutch mode' (bottom right of panel), click apply, then in ED set the thumb button ('i' button) to boost disabling clutch also allows me to use the mouse controls on the throttle. I did try the Registry deletion that was recommended at the Saitek forum that solved other issues. Hi all, Ive downloaded a f15c joystick profile for the x52 pro but cannot seem to import/load it. Also, go into the control panel for the stick and make sure Clutch Mode is Disabled, this will stop the clutch button on the throttle from working right. I searched around some other forums for this specific issue and found it has something to do with a 'clutch' feature.? In Joystick Properties I found a Clutch feature which was UNCHECKED. I have since discovered button 30 does not map in FS9 either, but will also show up in the Joystick Calibration as working. The button shows up in Joystick Calibration as working Ok, but when I try to map it in game it will not set a key, and when pushing the button in game it causes the LED centered in the HAT on the RIGHT joystick to flash rapidly. I first noticed this button not activating 'wheel brakes' in 1946 which is what the button has been mapped to since I've had the stick.

I'm not using any software, just mapping in game. The X52 Pro boasts an upgraded multifunction LCD which shows in-game data in real time, a progressive throttle with tension adjustment, plus an adjustable joystick with a self-centering mechanism.

If you have other windows versions and you have the same problems, give them a try but I cannot guarantee that you will solve all of them in any version.

I don’t know about that, this thread is ONLY for Saitek X52 (non pro) in Windows 7 ONLY.

Its a hell of a game to manually delete the latest drivers as you need to change the permissions in the Windows system 32 directory. A Lot of people complain about x52 and windows 8 and 10. I can now disable the clutch function and use the pinkie in the game controls menu.
SAITEK X52 PRO DISABLE CLUTCH DRIVER
Well I haven't been flying for a while and just got some time for a session last night and ran into a problem with button #30, the one just under your LEFT thumb centered in the side rotary wheel. In the end I deleted the latest drivers and reverted back to the previous Saitek X52 driver that I downloaded last year.
